Post-modern bush band BUSH GOTHIC release their third album, Beyond The Pale. Get ready to have your homely and totally archaic notions of Australian folk music exploded.

Opening the album is the traditional Australian folk song Jim Jones, telling the story of a convict who dreamt of revenge by joining the bushrangers to wreak havoc upon his incarcerators, the British government.

The Jim Jones video was filmed on location at Vaughan Cemetery in the Victorian Goldfields - in the depths of winter the band gathered with live marsupials and birds of prey to film a dreamscape of haunted bush tales.

Since the release of their previous album: The Natural Selection Australian Songbook (5 Stars - BBC Music Magazine ) Bush Gothic have been invited to perform at The Unthank’s Homegathering festival (UK), toured pubs of Ireland, churches of England, played Mona Foma twice plus headlined at festivals in New Zealand and India.
