We asked the village of Crich:
Got something to say?
Been keeping a secret?
Or maybe you have some delicious gossip?

WE WERE LISTENING
and recording

Your cousins over the seas at The Bush Telegraph in Australia were comissioned to set up a phone line direct from Crich to Melbourne. This phone line had a recording device attached.

Bush Telegraph asked villagers to call this phone line and tell them stories from your village, stories from the heart.

Words were recorded (and maybe re-ordered) then turned into a sound art piece that shall be posted back to Crich on a Compact Disc, ready for you to play.

What, what, what is a sound art piece?

It’s just a fancy way of saying we put stories and music together.
